Success!  I am even surprised at myself.  It looks very good.  There are some additional changes that I will make later.  This is not something that you can do overnight.  It takes time and patience.  You have to practice, practice and practice.  I am very thankful for having my one on one with my teacher, without whom this would not be possible.

WEBSITE-a website is entertainment, education, enrichment, and enjoyment.  It contains art, music, museums, and culture. A website is a collection of Web pages, images, videos or other digital assets that is hosted on one or several Web services(s), usually accessible via the Internet, cell phone or a LAN. A Web page is a document, typically written in HTML, that is almost always accessible via HTTP, a protocol that transfers information from the Web server to display in the user’s Web browser.

GRAPHICS-are presentations on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, computer screen, paper, to inform, illustrate, or entertain. Graphic design may consist of the deliberate selection, creation, or arrangement of typography alone, as in a brochure, flier, poster, website, or book without any other element.

BLOG – WEB DESIGN

BLOG-a frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links. A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person’s life ad what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide suite, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people. Blog is short for “web log”, or a running log maintained of sites visited which surfing the world-wide web.

WEB DESIGN-your website should be well organized–create an outline before beginning the design process. Check readability of text–cut it and paste it into a Word document. Check for grammar and spelling. Don’t forget that your website can be viewed by anyone, anywhere–If you are trying to reach a global audience make sure your graphics can be translated and understood internationally.

NOTEPAD – MEMORY STICK

NOTEPAD- is a basic text editor that you can use to create simple documents.  The most common use for Notepad is to view or edit text (.txt) files, but many users find Notepad a simple tool for creating Web pages. Notepad has no format tags or styles, making the program suitable for editing system files that are to be used in a DOS environment.

MEMORY  STICK-an electronic file storage format used by many electronic devices. Its tiny size has a range of storage volumes (from 32 MB to 1 GB) makes it a convenient storage. It is used more as a hard drive than as RAM. In fact it is considered a solid state storage device. Solid state means that there are no moving parts-everything is electronic instead of mechanical.

HTML – WEB BROWSER

HTML-being able to develop information on the web might be a job skill,  class requirement, a business necessity, or personal interest.  Unlike any other previous medium, the ability to “write” HTML allows you to potentially connect with millions of other people, as your own self-publisher.

WEB BROWSER-some of the Web browsers available for personal computers include Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera and Netscape. Web browsers are the most commonly used type of HTTP user agent. Although browsers are typically used to access the World Wide Web, they can also be used to access information provided by Web servers in private networks or content in file systems.
